Paneer bhurji gravy



Ingredients:

Paneer                        2 cups, crumbled
Butter                         1 tbsp
Jeera                           1/2 tsp
Bay leaf                      1 no.
Onion                         2 large, chopped
Ginger garlic paste     1 tsp
Tomato                       2 medium, finely chopped
Turmeric powder       1/2 tsp
Chilly powder            1 tsp
Coriander powder      1/2 tsp
Garam masala            1/2 tsp
Kasoori methi            1 tsp, crushed
Salt                             3/4 tsp
Peas                            2 tbsp
Water                          1 cup
Fresh coriander leaves     for garnish


Method:


  1. In a pan, add butter, jeera, bay leaf and onion.
  2. Saute onion till it turns translucent, add ginger garlic paste.
  3. Add tomato and cook till it turns soft. Mash the mixture till it becomes mushy.
  4.  Add the spices and mix well.
  5. Add water and bring to a boil and adjust consistency as desired.
  6. Add peas and crumbled cottage cheese.
  7. Serve and garnish with fresh corriander leaves.
Enjoy piping hot with roti, paratha or bread!!
