Dry ingredients:
Whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
Oats (grounded) 4 tbsp
Wheat bran 5 tbsp
Cornflour 1/2 tbsp
Brown sugar 2-3 tbsp
pinch of salt
Wet ingredients:
Butter (cold) 50 gm
Milk as required
Method:
Dry ingredients:
Whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
Oats (grounded) 4 tbsp
Wheat bran 5 tbsp
Cornflour 1/2 tbsp
Brown sugar 2-3 tbsp
pinch of salt
Wet ingredients:
Butter (cold) 50 gm
Milk as required
Method:
- Add all dry ingredients together and rub with ice cold butter with hands to form bread crumb texture.
- Add milk slowly and make a dough.
- Keep the dough to chill in fridge for 10-15 mins.
- Roll the dough with desired thickness and cut with a cookie cutter.
- Prick the biscuits before baking.
- Place the cookies on a baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree C for 10 mins on middle shelf.
- After baking, allow the cookies to rest in the oven for 5-10 mins (standing time).
- Cool on a rack and enjoy with hot tea, coffee, milk or just like that!!
