Ingredients:
Dry ingredients
Maida 1 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Custard powder 2 tbsp (vanilla flavor)
Cashew powder 2 tbsp
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Cocoa powder 1 tbsp (opional for chocolate cake)
Wet ingredients
Buttermilk 1 cup
Oil 1/4 cup
Caster sugar 3/4 cup or 100 gm
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Chocochip 1/2 cup
Method:
- Add all dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- Mix together wet ingredients and whisk properly.
- Add dry ingredients into above wet mix and add chocochips.
- Transfer the batter in a greased cake tin/ muffin tray lined with muffin liners.
- Bake at 180 degree C for 10-12 mins (cupcakes) or 30-35 mins (cake)
- Cool on a wire rack before demoulding.
Enjoy warm with drizzled chocolate sauce or frost with nutella or simple chocolate icing.!!
