Ingredients:
Dry ingredients
Whole wheat flour 1 cup
Oats (grounded) 1/2 cup
Sugar 1 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Oregano 1 tsp
Chilly flakes 1 tsp
Baking soda pinch
Baking powder pinch
Jeera/ajjwaiin optional
Wet ingredients
Mozarella cheese 2 tbsp
Butter (cold) 2 tbsp
Milk 2-4 tbsp
Method:
- Mix together all the dry ingredients in a bowl and rub cold butter and cheese into it to form bread crumb texture. Make sure to do the rubbing by hands only.
- Add milk (4 tbsp) to bring together the ingredients into a tight dough.
- Cover and refrigerate for 10 mins.
- Roll into desired thickness and cut into desired shape with a cutter.
- Dont forget to prick each cookie.
- Arrange on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degree C for 12 mins.
- Allow standing time of 5 mins in the oven before taking the tray out.
Cool on a rack and relish with a hot tea, coffee, milk or just like that!!
